Parful Events

Registration that fills the field and survives real buyers

John wants to buy four spots in a charity outing. He knows two of his players today, the third is a maybe, and he has no intention of creating an account on anything. Registration systems are usually designed for the tidy version of this purchase. Parful is designed for the real one. This page walks through exactly what happens.

Everything sells from one public page

Every event gets a shareable public page carrying the packages you define: single player spots, foursomes, dinner seats, add-ons, sponsorships that include player spots, and one-tap donations. A buyer taps Add to cart, the sticky Checkout button counts the cart, and registrations, sponsorships and donations can all ride in one order.

Each package card shows its own availability, and the event shows its field count. When a package or the field fills, the button changes to Join waitlist rather than letting a buyer complete a form that was never going to succeed.

Checkout asks for an email, not an account

The checkout gate says it in one line: enter your email, no account required. Continue is the primary action; Create an account is an explicit secondary for buyers who want to manage the order from a login later. Nobody is forced to invent a password to give the event money.

From there the buyer fills in their own details, the players they know, and pays by card. Events without card payment configured take the order with payment pending and the organizer follows up, which is how deposit-by-check events actually run.

Incomplete foursomes are the normal case

The player detail rows say it plainly: enter details for each player, you can update these later. John can buy in March with one confirmed name and finish the roster in the week of the event.

Three things keep those gaps from becoming event-morning surprises. The confirmation page issues a claim link per player slot, so each player can claim their own spot and fill in their own details. The event page shows the buyer a Complete your player registration banner until the order is whole. And the organizer has missing-information worklists that list exactly which entries still have gaps.

Confirmation and self-service without a login

Every order gets a short confirmation code and an order page. Coming back later does not need an account either: the Look up your order page verifies the buyer by the email address they registered with, then shows the order, its player slots with their claim status, and editing for what is still open.

What the organizer sees

The registrations roster shows who is in and what they bought, with every payment attached to the event it belongs to. Capacity, waitlists and deadlines enforce themselves, worklists surface the gaps worth chasing, and by event week the roster is the tee sheet waiting to happen rather than a spreadsheet reconciliation project.

Registration questions

Do buyers need a Parful account?

No. The checkout gate asks for an email and continues as a guest; creating an account is an optional secondary for buyers who want login-based management later.

What if the buyer does not know all four players?

The order completes anyway. Player details can be updated later, each slot gets a claim link the player can use to fill in their own information, and the organizer sees remaining gaps in missing-information worklists.

How do buyers get back to their order?

The order lookup page verifies them by the email they registered with. No password, no account.

What happens when the event fills up?

Package buttons switch to Join waitlist, so nobody completes a long form for a spot that does not exist.

Can an event take registrations without online card payment?

Yes. Orders are recorded with payment pending and the organizer follows up, and checks and cash recorded on the money desk reconcile with everything else.
